A 38-year-old man was arrested within 24 hours of thefts reported at two temples near Vittayipally village in Amangal, with police recovering property worth ₹1.65 lakh from him.

The accused, Peddamukkala Eshwar of Gantaravupally village in Nagarkurnool district, was identified using technical evidence, fingerprint analysis and assistance from the Clues Team, Future City police said on Friday.

The case was registered after thefts were reported at the Hanuman and Peddamma temples near Vittayipally village.
