The Sulur police in Coimbatore have launched an investigation after an unidentified individual was found murdered near Pappampatti on Monday.
A man aged between 35 and 40 was found dead in an unused hollow-block shed in a private land at Nandini Nagar near Pappampatti.
Personnel from the Sulur station rushed to the spot on receipt of information and began investigation. Scientific team of the police examined the crime scene.
According to the police, the deceased did not have clothing and he is suspected to have been murdered more than a day prior to the detection of the corpse. The deceased had an injury on his head and the word ‘Rameswar’ was found tattooed on the right upper limb.
