A Surrey man is facing 22 criminal charges in connection with a series of shooting investigations spanning December 2025 to August 2026.

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) and the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) announced Friday that charges were approved against 37-year-old Marco Matias following separate investigations into shootings in Surrey.

Police say a home near 110 Avenue and 140 Street was targeted in three shootings in December 2025. SPOSU investigated the incidents and identified Matias as a suspect.
