A 33-year-old man was found dead in a paddy field at Thathanappully, Kulukkallur, here on Monday (August 10, 2026) allegedly after being electrocuted by a live-wire trap set to catch wild boars. The deceased was identified as Ravi Prasad.
Mr. Prasad had parked his bike by the roadside after it developed a mechanical problem on Sunday night and was walking home along a footpath across an agricultural field when he got electrocuted.
