A 27-year-old man from Thiruvananthapuram drowned in the Moonnilavu river on Saturday.
The deceased, identified as Arjun, was an employee of an IT company in Ernakulam.
His body was recovered following a joint search operation carried out by personnel from the Erattupetta Fire and Rescue Services and volunteers of Team Emergency Kerala, Erattupetta.
The body has been shifted for post-mortem examination.
