A man has died and a woman has been seriously injured after a collision in Pettigo, Co Donegal.
The collision between a car and a 4x4 vehicle happened at around 2.45pm on the R232 at Fincashel.
The driver, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Letterkenny.
The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.
A passenger in the car, a woman in her 20s, was brought to hospital with serious injuries.
