Man charged with assisting Iran's intelligence service
A 39-year-old man from Liverpool has been charged with assisting Iranian intelligence services under the UK's National Security Act. The suspect was arrested in Birmingham and is currently remanded in custody.

A 39-year-old man has been charged with assisting Iran's intelligence service.
Vahid Aberi, of Liverpool, is accused of the National Security Act offence following an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing.
He was arrested in Birmingham on Wednesday and was taken to police station in the West Midlands with detectives later carrying out searches at properties in Birmingham and Liverpool.
Aberi was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later.
