A 29-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the assault of a man earlier this month who died in hospital two days later.
Nathan Kenna, with an address at The Nurseries, Mulhuddart in Dublin, was charged with assaulting Anthony Long on Parslickstown Drive in Mulhuddart on 3 July last.
He was remanded in custody to appear again in court on Wednesday when he is expected to apply for bail.

He told the court that he arrested Mr Kenna at 11.47pm last Friday night and when he was charged at 12.15am on Saturday he made no reply.
His solicitor of choice Michael Hennessy told the judge that he was "attending but not appearing" out of respect for the tragic circumstances of the case.
