Police allege the 45-year-old began his 90-minute rampage at midday in a Toyota Camry, which was driven through several suburbs including Mount Lawley, Perth, Inglewood, East Perth, South Perth, Carine, Madeley and Duncraig.
It is alleged that after stopping and jumping out of his car, he then used a metal pole to strike at least 20 parked or stationary vehicles, causing significant damage.
