Man booked for allegedly misusing NAD official’s seal

The Edathala police on Monday (October 5, 2026) booked an employee of the Naval Armament Depot (NAD) at Aluva for allegedly forging an appointment order by misusing the official seal of an officer of the Central government entity.
M.V. Jijith, a fireman, was booked for allegedly misusing the official seal of the Chief Draughtsman (Armament) and Junior Design Officer for preparing the forged document.
The police registered the case based on a complaint filed by the Deputy General Manager of NAD.
