Man bludgeoned to death by brother over land dispute in Kalaburagi village

A dispute over land between two brothers ended in tragedy when a 34-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his sibling at Bhupal Tegnoor village in Kalaburagi taluk on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Dhanaraj Mailari Shellagi, a resident of the village. His brother, Shivaraj Shellagi, faces murder charges in connection with the incident.

According to the police, an argument broke out between the brothers over tilling agricultural land while they were having lunch in the field. As the altercation escalated, Shivaraj allegedly struck Dhanaraj on the head with a heavy stone. Dhanaraj died on the spot.
