Police are investigating the death of a man reportedly serving as a personal aide to former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah, who was detained last week in a high-profile corruption case.
The man, identified as Sutrimo, was found unconscious outside a clinic in South Jakarta on Thursday and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Jakarta Police spokesman Budhi Hermanto said on Sunday.
Budhi said investigators had begun interviewing witnesses, including Sutrimo's family members, the ambulance driver, hospital personnel and others who may have information about the incident.
