A man in his 30s has been arrested after a bus was hijacked at knifepoint in Omagh, Co Tyrone this afternoon.
The PSNI said the incident happened at around 1pm in the Beltany Road area of the town.
Passengers were allowed to disembark from the bus, but the driver was kept on board. The bus was driven in the direction of Newtownstewart.
The PSNI said officers pursued the vehicle on the A5 through Victoria Bridge.
"A number of reports of collisions involving the stolen bus and other vehicles, including a police car and damage to property, have been received at this time," the PSNI said.
