A 47-year-old man has been before a special sitting of Galway District Court, charged with drugs and money laundering offences.
Olgierd Frankowski, with an address on Eyre Street in Galway, faces a total of 13 charges, 12 of which relate to the unlawful possession of drugs or controlled substances.
He is also charged with converting, transferring, handling, acquiring, possessing or using property that is the proceeds of criminal conduct.
The court heard Mr Frankowski was charged with the possession of cannabis, amphetamine and MDMA at his home and at his place of work in Galway on 30 September 2022.
