A man accused in a murder case, along with his family members, ended their lives by jumping in front of a passing goods train at Singarayakonda Railway Station in Prakasam district on Tuesday (July 14, 2026). The deceased were identified as Kudumula Harikrishna (33) from Ravurivari Kandriga village in the TP Gudur mandal of SPSR Nellore district, his wife Pranitha (30), daughter Manvitha (4), and son Krishna Kiriti (3).
According to the Ongole Government Railway Police Station (GRP), the incident occurred on the northern side of Platform No. 2 at Singarayakonda Railway Station at 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The family of four succumbed to their injuries on the spot.
During the course of the investigation, the police identified Kudumula Harikrishna as the accused (A-1) in Crime No. 149/2026 of the Buchireddypalem Urban Police Station, registered under Sections 103(1), 238, and 5 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
