A business dispute allegedly involving financial losses took a violent turn in Gajularamaram after a man was attacked and abducted by five unidentified persons on Wednesday (October 7). The incident took place days after his family reportedly received threats demanding money.

The Jagadgirigutta police registered a case following a complaint lodged by Beedala Swathi, whose husband, Ashok Reddy, was allegedly abducted from Yandamuri Layout in Gajularamaram.

According to the police, Ashok Reddy had been running a business in partnership with a man identified as Chandrasekhar for nearly three years. However, following losses in the business, disputes arose between the two, with Chandrasekhar allegedly harassing Ashok Reddy over financial matters.

In her complaint, Swathi stated that unidentified persons had been calling the family for the past five days, demanding money and threatening to kidnap their children and kill the entire family if their demands were not met.
