The P-plater whose car allegedly struck a crowd of Newcastle Knights fans on grand final weekend has been granted bail in a Newcastle court.
Indika Bambrick Samarasinghe spent six nights in custody, and must live with his mother in Sydney.
Mr Samarasinghe is due in court next week.
