The Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong has suspended Rev. Fr. Samuel Adapore indefinitely over what it describes as serious acts on the part of the priest.

The suspension, which takes effect from Monday, August 24, 2026, was announced in a statement signed by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong, Most Rev. John Opoku-Agyemang.

Rev. Fr. Adapore, who was the Rector of St. Anthony of Padua Rectorate at Nkwantakese, has been barred from publicly administering the sacraments, including celebrating or concelebrating Mass and officiating at other liturgical services.

According to the Diocese, the decision was taken by the Bishop in consultation with the College of Consultors.
