Mamata All India Trinamool Congress on Sunday (October 11, 2026) accused the ruling BJP of pursuing "politics of intimidation" in West Bengal after its Baruipur Purba MLA Bibhas Sardar was allegedly attacked.
The former ruling party in the state alleged that Mr. Sardar was attacked on Saturday (October 10) night when he was returning home in Joynagar in South 24 Parganas district after attending a party programme.
