Shree Amba Maheshwari Seva Trust that has been working on scientific waste management and traffic management, has urged the Dakshina Kannada district administration to make proper arrangements in advance for traffic and waste management and public safety during the upcoming Navaratri celebrations in the city.
In a statement here, the Trust said it has submitted memorandums to the Deputy Commissioner and the city administration underlining the need for effective coordination between different agencies. The Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple and the Mangaladevi Temple attract thousands of people, ,vehicles and temporary fair stalls during the celebrations.
