Mahindra Thar OG launched: Prices, variants, features and more

Mahindra has launched the new Thar OG, bringing a substantial update to its three-door lifestyle SUV. Prices start at Rs 10.32 lakh, ex-showroom, while deliveries are scheduled to begin from October 11, 2026. The new model gets a new platform, revised suspension, more powerful engine options, additional safety features and styling changes.The Thar OG is based on Mahindra’s M_Glyde 4G platform, which is claimed to offer higher stiffness for improved on-road and off-road driving characteristics. The SUV also gets DAVINCI Damping technology with Frequency Dependent Damping (FDD) and a rear PENTALINK suspension with Watts Link.The SUV now comes with Electric Power Steering, which is aimed at making manoeuvring easier, particularly at lower speeds.
