President Mahama disclosed this during an inspection tour of the Saglemi Housing Project, where construction has resumed through a partnership between government and the private sector.
He encouraged Ghanaians interested in acquiring the houses to prepare to register when the official application portal is opened.
The President recalled that the project was initiated under the late President John Evans Atta Mills but was subsequently stalled following a change in government and legal and investigative challenges.
