PETALING JAYA: The national women’s squash team secured a 2-1 victory over Hong Kong to retain the women’s team gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, today.
The victory at Nagoya Kinjo Futo Arena saw the squad claim Malaysia’s seventh gold medal at the Games.
It was also the squash team’s third gold medal after Ng Eain Yow and S Sivasangari won the men’s and women’s individual titles, respectively.
Aifa Azman put Malaysia ahead today after defeating Ho Tze Lok 11-9, 11-9, 12-10, Berita Harian reported.
