Maersk has implemented an emergency inland fuel surcharge for shipments across the Nordic region due to rising energy costs linked to Middle East instability. The surcharge varies by country and excludes electric and rail transport solutions.

The surcharge applies to store door (SD) shipments in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. It will remain in effect until further notice.
