Lady Doak College organised a two-day career orientation programme, ‘Beyond Graduation: Decide, Prepare, Succeed’, for outgoing students. About 1,200 final-year UG and PG students participated.
Udaya Sankar, Director, NASSCOM Talent Council and co-founder, Maatram Foundation, addressed the students on career opportunities and professional development. P. Shanmugam, Senior Manager, Global Expansion Strategies Lead, Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Desigan Padmanaban, Accounts Manager, Tech Mahindra, spoke on career planning, employability skills, workplace expectations and opportunities in higher education and employment.

Sri Sarada Vidyavanam Matriculation School, Simmakkal, Madurai, celebrated Sri Krishna Jayanthi with students dressed in colourful attire. Kindergarten students marked the occasion with fancy dress performances. Prizes were distributed to the winners and participants.
