Achievers’ Day was celebrated at the Sri Sundareswara Vidyasala Matric Higher Secondary School, Melur, to recognise students for their academic and co-curricular achievements.
DRDS, Bengaluru, Dilli Babu, was the chief guest. Proprietor, Vijaya Publications, Coimbatore, M. Velayutham; Proprietor, Viswas Promoters, S. Setharaman; Secretary, Sethupathi and M.C. School, S. Parthasarathy; Neurologist Ramasubramanian; and retired Professor and Scientist M. Premanathan were the special invitees.
The chief guest spoke on career opportunities in DRDO and congratulated the students on their achievements.
The Department of English, KR Arts and Science College, Thambipatti near Peraiyur, organised an orientation programme for first-year students.
