The Madras High Court Registry has lodged a complaint with the Greater Chennai Commissioner of Police in connection with its proceedings having been forged to get five Bangladesh nationals, lodged in a special foreigners camp at Attur in Salem district, deported to their country.

Appearing before Justice V. Lakshminarayanan, the High Court’s standing counsel S. John Raja Singh reported that a complaint on behalf of the Registrar General Deepthi Arivunithi was lodged with the Chennai city police on Tuesday (October 6, 2026) in compliance of the court orders.

Bilal alias Mohammed Bilal Syed, Y. Salim and Bimal Sutrada alias Laxman Das had filed three individual writ petitions in the High Court seeking a direction to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in Chennai as well as the State police to take steps for deporting them to their country.
