Former head of the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC), Advocate Andrea Johnson , told the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Monday that MP Fadiel Adams should be charged for possession of crime intelligence information, whether classified or unclassified.
This was after it was pointed out to Johnson that Adams, in his Section 27 affidavit, stated that the information he shared with IDAC about alleged corruption within crime intelligence had personal details of Major General Nosipho Madondo, who was accused of not having a top secret clearance— was pushed under Adams’ door in Parliament. The Commission heard that this meant that the information was illegally obtained.
