Madanapalle secures ₹1,000 crore infra project to address water supply issues
Madanapalle Assembly constituency in Annamayya district has secured a ₹1,000 crore Phase-II water grid project under the Jal Jeevan Mission to provide a permanent solution to chronic drinking water problems. This project will ensure safe and uninterrupted water supply to Madanapalle town and surrounding rural mandals, with tenders for Phase-II to be invited shortly and completion aimed within 18 months.

Annamayya district has secured a major drinking water infrastructure project with the approval of Phase-II of the water grid project for Madanapalle Assembly constituency at an estimated cost of ₹1,000 crore under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, District Collector Nishant Kumar said that the project would provide a permanent solution to the region’s chronic drinking water problem. “The project will ensure safe and uninterrupted drinking water supply to Madanapalle town and the rural mandals of Madanapalle, Nimmanapalle and Ramasamudram,” he said.
