LVPEI, IIH Warriors to hold ‘Not Just A Headache’ session on Sept. 30
The LV Prasad Eye Institute and IIH Warriors India are hosting an awareness session titled 'Not Just A Headache' to educate the public about Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. The event aims to address the diagnostic challenges of the condition, which often mimics common ailments but can lead to severe vision loss if left untreated.
Why it matters
Increasing awareness of IIH is vital for early detection and preventing permanent vision impairment in patients who might otherwise dismiss symptoms.
LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), in collaboration with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) Warriors India, will organise an IIH awareness programme at 4 p.m. on September 30 at the GMR Varalakshmi campus in the city.
