Lucky draws for govt.’s 7,630 affordable flats within ORR concludes

The Telangana government has concluded lucky draws for 7,340 affordable housing units across 16 constituencies. Officials are now verifying beneficiary eligibility, with a list to be published on the state housing board's website.

The l ucky draws to select beneficiaries of the 7,340 affordable flats in Telangana Government’s Indiramma Housing towers came to a conclusion on Monday (August 31). The houses — yet to be constructed — are located in 16 Assembly constituencies within Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits.
Officials would verify details of the people selected in the draws, including their family details, income, residence, if they own any properties in ORR limits and other key eligibility criteria. The list of the beneficiaries would be uploaded to Telangana Housing Board’s website. If people have information on the beneficiaries violating eligibility criteria, they can submit the details through the website.
The State government proposed to construct one lakh affordable flats in 25 Assembly constituencies within ORR or Hyderabad (CURE) limits, with 480 flats in each as part of pilot project basis.
