The Telangana government has extended by four months the 25% concession on fees and other charges payable under the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS), offering relief to applicants seeking to regularise plots in unauthorised layouts. The concession, which was scheduled to end on August 1, will now remain in force until November 30, 2026.
The extension was notified through G.O. Ms. No. 213 issued on Friday by Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. Under the revised order, applicants paying LRS fees between August 1 and November 30 will be eligible for the 25% rebate.
