The French maison unveiled a bold new chapter for its Escale collection, including five high complication watches powered by four new in-house movements by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.
The Escale collection has long been Louis Vuitton’s watchmaking ode to trave l. Meaning “stopover” in French, the line was first relaunched in 2024 with a pared-back, time-only design. These five new additions take the collection in a bolder, more ambitious direction with world time displays, dual time zones, a flying tourbillon as well as a minute repeater.
Each new movement was conceived and assembled in-house at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, while the design is inspired by the maison’s legendary trunk-making heritage, from bracket-inspired lugs to hand-painted flag motifs and gold studs that echo the nails of vintage lozine bindings.
