Lotto is clearing its cash pot with a $10m Must Be Won jackpot up for grabs.

Lotto has announced a whopping $10 million jackpot that must be won this weekend before it switches to a new format.

This Saturday will be the final 10-ball game before Powerball moves to a 14-ball game which Lotto NZ chief innovation and product officer Ben Coney said would feature bigger prizes and more winners.

That refreshed format starts next Wednesday.

“We’re making this draw a must-be-won event to clear the jackpot prize pool, before we reset the game to 14-balls and a brand-new starting jackpot of $5 million.

“With a big prize pool up for grabs, we expect plenty of Kiwis will want to get in on the action.”
