Lomand Beveridge sentenced for Dargaville armed aggravated robbery

Four adults and four children were asleep inside a home when armed men stormed on to the property before dawn, demanding a name and carrying weapons including a shotgun and knife.
The confrontation culminated with Lomand Beveridge pointing a shotgun at a woman who came outside to challenge the group.
Beveridge, 29, appeared for sentencing in the Whangārei District Court on an aggravated burglary charge after an incident in February 2024.
About 4am, Beveridge and two accomplices drove to an address in Dargaville , opened a gate and walked on to the front lawn.
Inside the home were four adults and four children.
