Lokesh unveils statue of ex-CM Rosaiah’s in Visakhapatnam

IT Minister Nara Lokesh unveiled a bronze statue of former Chief Minister of the undivided Andhra Pradesh Konijeti Rosaiah at Siripuram Circle in Visakhapatnam on Monday. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Lokesh described Rosaiah as an embodiment of political values ​​and integrity. The statue was unveiled in the presence of MP M. Sribharat, Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath Gupta and other dignitaries. Recalling the demand raised by the Arya Vysya community during his ‘Yuva Galam padayatra,’ Mr. Lokesh said that the community expressed that their self-respect to be honoured. The government provided the land, and the community raised funds and installed a statue of Potti Sriramulu’s in Amaravati. With the approval of Arya Vysya elders, we named Potti Sriramulu’s statue as the ‘Statue of Sacrifice.’
