Lokesh to inaugurate renovated government school in Nellore on September 16

Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh will inaugurate the Devireddy Sarada Government High School, which was renovated by Hyderabad-based real estate company DSR Group using its CSR funds of ₹13.40 crore, at Mulapet in Nellore on Wednesday (September 16).

The school, which had once fallen into a dilapidated state, has now been transformed into a modern institution. From classrooms and laboratories to sports grounds and a library, it has been transformed into a premier centre of learning, equipped with international-standard facilities essential for students.

Municipal Administration and Urban Planning (MA&UD) Minister Ponguru Narayana had earlier initiated the modernisation of government schools in the city by upgrading VRC Government High School at Chinna Bazar to international standards. In the same spirit, he initiated measures to revamp the girls’ high school in Mulapet with modern amenities.
