Minister for Education and IT Nara Lokesh inaugurated two government schools — RSR High School in Stonehousepet and Devireddy Sarada High School in Mulapet — renovated under the Public-Private-People Partnership (P4) model as part of his SPSR Nellore district tour on Wednesday.

He received a grand welcome from Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister Ponguru Narayana, MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy, Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Kandukur MLA Inturi Nageswara Rao, District Collector Himanshu Shukla, and Superintendent of Police (SP) Ajitha Vejendla.

Government schools in Nellore are undergoing a new transformation with a corporate-style approach. Under the leadership of Mr. Lokesh, dilapidated school buildings are being developed using CSR funds and equipped with comprehensive amenities, Mr. Narayana said.
