Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler says Yankuba Minteh could still "fulfil his dream" move in the future after the club rejected Liverpool 's offers in the transfer window.

The Reds had bids of £50m and £60m turned down for the winger, with Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola having wanted to bolster his attacking options.

It is understood Brighton were seeking closer to £70m for the 22‑year‑old Gambia international.

Minteh, who joined from Newcastle for £30m in 2024, plays primarily on the right and has scored 10 goals and supplied nine assists in 73 Seagulls appearances.
