Sen. Bernie Moreno called the vote only “a small amount of justice,” framing it as the first step in a broader effort to prosecute Fauci.
“No one is above the law and especially not a power hungry narcissist. Next step: DOJ must investigate and prosecute,” Moreno wrote on X.
Republican committee members led by Sen. Rand Paul have vowed to bypass a full Senate vote, instead sending their recommendation straight to the Justice Department.
