Speaking at the valedictory session of the Amaravati Literature Festival (ALF) 2026 held at SRM University-A.P., Amaravati, the Padma Shri awardee said stories, poetry, and classical texts safeguard cultural memory and wisdom across generations, even amid advancing technology.
Drawing from Telugu literary giants like Vemana, Sri Sri and Dhurjati, Mr. Brahmanandam said literature should be made accessible to all, emphasising its role in nurturing imagination, emotional awareness and independent thought. He underscored spirituality’s pivotal place in literature, pointing to works such as the Bhagavatam and Bhagavad Gita as guides to introspection and human values.
