MANILA, Philippines (Update 4, 5:58 p.m.) - Several roads in Metro Manila remained affected by flooding on Saturday, August 29, as the capital region remained under a red rainfall warning due to heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon or habagat.
State weather bureau PAGASA said serious flooding is expected in flood-prone areas under the red warning level. Metro Manila was among the areas placed under the red rainfall warning as of 5 p.m.
