Lions, Rourke flip script on Roughriders to reach West final

The B.C. Lions defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders 33-26 in the CFL West Division semifinal after a second-half comeback led by quarterback Nathan Rourke. The win advances the Lions to the West Division final against the Edmonton Elks.
Why it matters
This result determines the path to the Grey Cup, impacting the competitive landscape of professional Canadian football.
The B.C. Lions season ended at the hands of the Saskatchewan Roughriders in each of the past two post-seasons, and it initially looked like more of the same on Saturday.
Instead, the Lions mounted a second-half comeback at home, flipping the script on their West Division rivals to keep their Grey Cup hopes alive.
Nathan Rourke delivered a performance that we've seen him put together many times in his CFL career, throwing for 366 yards and three touchdowns to lead B.C. to a 33-26 comeback victory in the West Division semifinal.
Unfortunately for the Roughriders, they were unable to maintain their momentum, and we will now be crowning a new Grey Cup champion for the fifth consecutive season.
The victory sends B.C. to the West Division final on Nov. 7, where the Edmonton Elks are waiting.
Here are takeaways from the CFL's West semifinal.
