VANCOUVER — Six games into the CFL season, the B.C. Lions were floundering. The team was 1-5 and seemed poised to linger at the bottom of the standings all year. But the Lions have clawed their way out of the hole and, after beating the Saskatchewan Roughriders 31-24 on Friday, now sit second in the West Division with an 8-6 record. "Ultimately, going into this stretch, we knew that we controlled our own destiny," said Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke. "And so any type of win, especially against a West team, is huge for us, right? So, we just want to continue to focus one game at a time, and let the cards fall where they may."
