Linking FRS attendance with examination fee payment in DIETs approved
The state government has mandated that student-teacher attendance data from facial recognition systems be linked to examination fee payments and eligibility. This policy applies to all state-run DIETs and private colleges offering elementary and pre-school education diplomas.

The State government has accorded permission for linking the attendance data generated through facial recognition system (FRS) with the examination fee payment process and examination eligibility of student-teachers.
The system will be applied to all State-run District Institute of Education and Training (DIETs) and private colleges with Diploma in Elementary Education and Diploma in Pre School Education. The process will be mandated from the current academic year.
