Supporters of the Linda Mwananchi movement on Sunday gathered in large numbers at Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi ahead of a planned rally.
The movement, led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, was seen on Jogoo Road making its way to the venue in a convoy accompanied by a group of supporters.
The leaders were seen waving to and interacting with residents as they made their way to the grounds, where supporters continued to gather ahead of the rally.
The tour began at All Saints Cathedral at 9 am with a church service before the movement embarked on a tour of some of the city’s busiest markets and neighbourhoods.
From the cathedral, Sifuna and his supporters headed to Marikiti and Gikomba markets before proceeding to Burma Market.
