A crowd outside All Saints Cathedral/SCREEENGRAB Linda Mwananchi supporters have started filling parts of Nairobi’s Central Business District as they gather ahead of a major political mobilisation tour led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna on Sunday.

The supporters arrived in the CBD as early as 8am, carrying placards and whistles as they waited for the start of the much-anticipated tour.

On Tom Mboya Street, the group danced energetically to anti-government songs, creating a charged atmosphere as more supporters continued to arrive.

Some businesses in parts of the Nairobi CBD were closed ahead of the rally, as police officers maintained a visible presence in the city in anticipation of the political procession.
