The Linda Mwananchi movement raised more than Sh3 million on Friday, as its ongoing grassroots fundraising campaign continues to gather momentum.
The movement raised Sh3,000,617.28 on July 31, according to a sticker posted on its social media platforms, marking a significant boost to its ongoing public fundraising campaign.
The fundraising came on the final day of July, with the movement attributing part of the surge to its Friday Sh100 challenge, which encouraged supporters to contribute to the initiative.
“Small acts, big impact, real change. Every contribution counts. Asanteni sana!” the sticker reads.
It also lauded Kenyans who had contributed to the campaign, noting that their support was helping drive the movement forward.
