“RIP TO THE BADDEST EVER! LOVE U FOREVER MOMMY. this one’s gonna hurt. 🥹🥹,” the rapper, 27, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, alongside three photos of Hill.

Nas, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, had a complicated relationship with his mother.

His parents split when he was 5, and he moved into his grandmother’s home before his father gained custody when he was 9.

“I never really talk about my mom,” the Grammy winner shared in a 2020 interview. “She’s an addict so we don’t have the closest relationship. Even trying to get her better — things didn’t quite work out. But there’s still love.”

Nas has been open about his own sobriety journey amid his mental health issues.
