PETALING JAYA: The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) is investigating certain people identified in the royal commission of inquiry (RCI) on Tabung Haji’s (TH) financial management.
LHDN said the investigations were based on tax risk analysis, which found discrepancies between the reported income and asset ownership of those identified.
The tax authority said it conducted raids on several premises to obtain information, review documents and verify facts in its probe, reported Bernama.
“All of our reviews and investigations are being carried out professionally, with integrity and in accordance with the prevailing tax laws, without any prejudice to any party.
